We are currently seeking a passionate and dependable Childcare Teacher to join our growing team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of young children and their families.

Position Summary:

The Childcare Teacher is responsible for creating a warm and welcoming classroom environment that promotes emotional, social, physical, and cognitive development. This role includes implementing age-appropriate curriculum, building positive relationships with children and parents, and maintaining a safe, clean, and organized classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
  • Implement The Learning Experience’s proprietary curriculum and support children’s individual learning needs.
  • Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and co-workers.
  • Communicate with families through daily reports, updates, and scheduled conferences.
  • Assist in maintaining classroom cleanliness, organization, and licensing compliance.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and leadership to create a team-oriented, supportive work environment.
  • Observe and document children’s progress and behavior and participate in ongoing assessments.
  • Attend staff meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities as required.
Qualifications:

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 6 months to 1 year experience working in a licensed childcare center or preschool.
  • Must meet Texas Child Care Licensing background check and training requirements.
  • CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Passion for working with young children and a commitment to creating a positive learning experience.
✅ Preferred:

  • CDA (Child Development Associate) or related coursework in early childhood education.
  • Experience with infant, toddler, or preschool age groups.
  • Familiarity with curriculum implementation and classroom management.

Compensation: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
