Job Title: Program Team Leader – TEEN Works Youth Workforce Program
Location: Rockland Community College, Rockland County, NY
Employment Type: Temporary/Seasonal (April 1 – August 1, 2025)
Hourly Rate: $26.00/hour
Reports To: Program Director / Youth Bureau Program Consultant
Position Overview

Serve as the on-site lead for the TEEN Works youth workforce development program

Oversee daily operations, curriculum delivery, staff coordination, and youth engagement

Act as the primary point of contact for staff, participants, and stakeholders during program hours
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership & Delivery
- Lead implementation of curriculum and daily youth programming
- Ensure a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment
- Model Positive Youth Development (PYD) strategies
Team Supervision
- Supervise youth instructors, assistants, and volunteers
- Conduct team meetings, provide feedback, and support new staff onboarding
Program Coordination
- Manage schedules, attendance, supplies, and logistics
- Address operational issues and escalate concerns when needed
- Monitor curriculum execution and participant engagement
Communication & Reporting
- Maintain accurate attendance and incident records
- Communicate with families, staff, and external partners
- Provide updates and reports to the Program Consultant
Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience in youth development, education, or workforce programs

Experience supervising staff, interns, or volunteers

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Familiarity with PYD principles and working with diverse youth populations

Ability to work:

Part-time (April–June): 20–30 hours/week

Full-time (July 7–August 1): Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Compensation: $26.00 per hour
