Job Summary:
Job Summary:
MRI Technologist is responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
procedures to obtain detailed images of patients' internal structures for diagnostic purposes. The
role includes preparing patients, operating MRI equipment, ensuring the quality of images, and
adhering to safety and regulatory standards. The MRI Tech collaborates with radiologists and
other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care and accurate diagnostic
information.

Key Responsibilities:
We need an MRI tech that is familiar with Philips 1.5 & 3T. 1.5 Siemens coming in June 2025
Perform MRI Scans: Operate MRI machines to produce high-quality images of various body parts, including the brain, spine, joints, and organs, following established protocol sand procedures.
Patient Care: Prepare and position patients for MRI scans, explain the procedure,
ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
Image Acquisition and Review: Monitor MRI scans in real-time, review images for clarity and completeness, and make adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal image quality.
Contrast Administration: Administer contrast agents when required, ensuring proper
handling and monitoring for any adverse reactions.
Equipment Maintenance: Conduct routine checks and preventive maintenance on MRI equipment, report any issues, and ensure equipment is functioning properly. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety standards, ensuring
patient and staff safety while operating MRI machines.
Documentation: Accurately document patient information, imaging procedures performed, and any relevant details in the patient’s medical record. Collaboration: Work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare staff to
ensure coordinated patient care and accurate diagnostic results.
Quality Control: Participate in quality control programs, including regular equipment calibration and adherence to imaging standards.
Qualifications:
Education: Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology, MRI Technology, or a related field.
Certification: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) MRI certification
(ARRT(MRI)) or ARMRIT required.
State licensure where applicable
BLS/CPR Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience as an MRI Technologist preferred.
