We're looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer with deep expertise in power systems to help us shape the future of water infrastructure.
If you're a seasoned consulting engineer with at least 10 years of hands-on experience, this role offers a rewarding opportunity to lead impactful projects and mentor a talented team.
What You’ll Do
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you’ll lead the design and execution of complex electrical systems for water and wastewater facilities. Your responsibilities will include:
- 🔌 Designing detailed electrical power systems with limited supervision
- 📊 Performing load calculations, conduit routing, and switchgear design
- 📄 Generating specifications and reviewing submittals
- 👷♀️ Leading field investigations and construction support activities
- 🤝 Mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
What You Bring to the Table
- 🎓 Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred)
- 🔍 10–15 years of relevant experience
- 🧠 Strong knowledge of:
- NEC, NFPA 820, and NESC codes

- IEEE Color Book series

- Power system calculations: short-circuit current, voltage drop, harmonics, power factor
- 🛠 Field investigation and start-up experience
- 💬 Excellent communication and client engagement skills
- 🧾 PE license required

Compensation & Benefits
💰 Annual Salary Range: $150,000 – $182,000 (based on Walnut Creek, CA)
