Thompson Fabrication, a steel fabrication and manufacturing shop, is seeking a motivated individual to fill a full-time Painter job opening. Thompson Fabricating has been providing high quality containers to the waste industry for 30 years.

We are looking for a Painter that can operate spray equipment to paint containers. Maintain spray equipment to good working order. Keep daily inventory of paint. Paint all containers completely without runs and missed areas.

Qualifications:

Read and understand the production schedules.
Mix paint that you are going to spray that day.
Paint every container without runs and missed areas.
Forklift experience
Monitor and Clean/Change exhaust & intake filters when needed.

Physical Abilities:

Wear respirator at all times when spraying paint.
Ability to climb, bend, kneel, crawl, etc.

Education and Experience:

1-3 years of industrial or automotive painting experience

Full time, first shift, Monday thru Friday. Only dependable, reliable, highly motivated & qualified applicants should apply.
