Job Summary:
The Business Systems Analyst (hereafter, the incumbent) is a skilled and adaptable data and process improvement professional with primary responsibilities in business and process analysis, requirements gathering, and documentation efforts for the Investment team.
The incumbent’s responsibilities include analyzing existing processes, interviewing business process owners, gathering relevant data, and designing technology-based process improvement strategies.
The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining existing processes and creating testing plans. Additionally, the incumbent will assist with data analysis, reporting, and development as needed. Specific responsibilities include: Meet with Investment team members and conduct interviews to discuss areas of improvement; Gather data to identify areas of process improvement.
Elicit and document requirements from Investment team members as they relate to projects or ad-hoc work. Design workflows and process strategies to improve business performance. Develop a thorough understanding of investments applications and databases, including the architecture of and data flow between systems. Create and maintain detailed documentation for business and technical processes such as data flows and operational systems.
Create and execute testing plans for projects and ad-hoc work.
Provide support to internal teams by assisting with data analysis and report development.
Continue to enhance technical skills including SQL, process automation and reporting tools.
Attend relevant conferences, training seminars, or classes to enhance knowledge of programming languages, investments and investment systems, process automation and business intelligence tools.

Compensation: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
