About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled SAP Datasphere Specialist to join our team remotely, supporting the State of Pennsylvania. This role involves designing, developing, and managing SAP Datasphere solutions integrated with SAP S/4HANA and various non-SAP systems. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in data integration, modeling, and analytics to enable seamless data exchange and empower business users with actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and configure SAP Datasphere solutions integrating SAP S/4HANA and non-SAP systems.
  • Build and manage real-time data integration flows ensuring seamless, accurate data exchange.
  • Utilize APIs, OData services, and connectors for efficient data retrieval and transformation.
  • Design and implement scalable data models to support analytics and reporting needs.
  • Optimize data structures, hierarchies, and relationships to maintain data consistency and accuracy.
  • Develop reusable data assets compatible with reporting tools like SAP Analytics Cloud and Power BI.
  • Create data pipelines and workflows for real-time and batch data processing.
  • Ensure high-performance ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data integration and transformation issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with business teams to translate reporting requirements into efficient data models.
  • Develop user-friendly data views for self-service analytics.
  • Ensure data availability and accuracy for platforms such as SAP Analytics Cloud.
  • Work closely with IT, business users, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Implement best practices for data governance, security, and system performance.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data integration workflows for efficiency.
  • Lead and participate in project activities related to enterprise systems.
  • Adhere to organizational standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Utilize various software and technology tools to perform job duties effectively.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by PTC related to the role.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3- 5 years experience in data integration and analytics.
  • experience with SAP Datasphere.
  • Proven experience integrating SAP Datasphere with SAP S/4HANA and non-SAP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Strong expertise in real-time data integration techniques and best practices.
  • Proficiency in data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud.
  • Familiarity with APIs, OData services, and data connectivity tools.
  • Knowledge of SQL, scripting languages, and cloud-based data platforms is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively across teams.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

This is a remote position.

Compensation: $110,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
