Position Overview
Do you enjoy working with and helping people? Our Maplewood Insurance Agency is bringing in two in-office team members. Qualified applicants should be outgoing, excellent communicators, positive, proactive, accountable, able to successfully multi- task and must work well both independently and with others. Applicants must be able to obtain necessary insurance licenses prior to start date. This career is a great fit for someone who enjoys being helpful and for self-starters who desire the opportunity to earn additional compensation related to sales. The salary range is higher for applicants with insurance licenses and relevant experience.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assisting policyholders with service needs in person, over the phone and via email and text
- Offering and quoting State Farm Insurance Products
- Creating and following up on sales leads
- Contacting policyholders to offer reviews of coverage and discounts
- Answering billing questions & taking payments
As an Agent Team Member, you will receive:

Requirements
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and listening)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Positive, outgoing, and a team-player
- Technologically proficient
- Initiative taking
- Previous experience in insurance or a related field preferred.
- Must be able to obtain NJ Property & Casualty and Life Insurance Licenses

Compensation: $42,000.00 - $47,000.00 per year
