Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Irrigation Technician to install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of irrigation system components, water conservation practices, and the ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, and maintain irrigation systems for residential and/or commercial properties
- Diagnose and repair system issues, including leaks, broken heads, valves, and wiring
- Perform seasonal irrigation start-ups and shut-downs (winterization)
- Program and adjust irrigation controllers and timers
- Ensure systems operate efficiently and meet water conservation standards
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly with clients and team members
- Work in elements: rain/cold/heat. Longer days during peak season.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (college a plus)
- 3+ years of experience in irrigation installation and repair (preferred)
- Knowledge of irrigation components (valves, timers, pumps, drip systems, etc.)
- Ability to read site plans and irrigation blueprints
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to drive a Truck and trailer/Isuzu landscape truck/dingo/trencher

Compensación: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
