Quality, On-time Delivery & Customer Satisfaction are of the upmost importance to MBK Machine. The duties of this job are to maintain & continuously improve these metrics where possible. The duties of the quality control inspector are to help oversee quality operations, ensure excellent quality control of product, and maintain and uphold the quality management system.
Responsibilities of the position:

- Perform first article inspections, in-process inspections, and final inspections.
- Responsible for programming and operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to ensure the quality of our products meets customer and industry standards .
- Performing quality inspection, applying quality inspection techniques, and identifying nonconforming hardware.
- Record and log measurements for parts on applicable form (typically AS9102 form).
- Prepare required documents to customer specifications.
- Communicate & collaborate in the quality lab with other inspectors as well as with shop operations.
- Offer solutions to advance the progress and modernization of the quality department.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in programming and operating CMM machines and inspection equipment.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Proficient with mechanical tools and surface plate inspections.
- Experience with metrology equipment and software.
- Knowledge of quality control principles and practices.
- Familiarity with AS9100 standards.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Compensation: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
