Maryland Physical Therapy is currently offering a full-time physical therapist assistant (PTA) position for our outpatient physical therapy practice, that specializes in orthopedic rehabilitation and sports medicine in Solomons, Maryland. Our practice is seeking a physical therapist assistant who wants to make a positive impact on our patients and community.
Maryland Physical Therapy is a physical therapist owned outpatient practice, that focuses on the development of our physical therapists and aides to ensure quality healthcare is provided to our community members.
We support and encourage innovation and creativity from our physical therapists, as well as control over their own schedule to deliver a quality care experience to the patients we help serve. We are the ideal physical therapy practice for new graduates through mentorship to help the application of the physical therapy concepts previously learned to increase their clinical knowledge and patient care.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Treatment of pathologies and/or surgeries referred for physical therapy,
- Completion and submission of all required documentation,
- Maintains a patient treatment schedule which promotes achievement of short and long-term therapeutic goals.
Physical Therapist Assistant Requirements:
- Previous experience in outpatient setting preferred, but not required,
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and documentation skills.

Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Education:
- Graduate of a CAPTE accredited school of Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) or a school approved by the World Congress of Physical Therapy,
License/Certification:
- Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Maryland License (Required).
Work Location:
- In person.
