About the Role:
We’re looking for a friendly, talented, and engaging singing and ukulele coach to provide private lessons for our three children (ages 10, 10, and 14). The ideal instructor will foster a love for music, help build confidence, and create a fun, supportive learning environment tailored to each child’s pace and style.
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1-on-1 and small group instruction in singing and ukulele
- Tailor lesson plans to match skill levels and musical interests
- Help prepare basic practice routines between sessions
- Encourage creativity and growth in a fun, low-pressure environment
- Track progress and provide regular feedback to both students and parents
Qualifications:
- Experience teaching music to children or pre-teens (ages 10–14)
- Strong vocal and ukulele skills
- Friendly, patient, and encouraging personality
- Ability to make lessons fun, structured, and engaging
- Reliable transportation (if in-person) or comfort with virtual teaching tools (if remote)
Preferred:
- Background in music education or performance
- Experience with harmonies, songwriting, or multiple instruments is a plus
Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
