Position Title: Cost Accountant
Location: Salem, New Hampshire (on-site)

The Role:
As a Cost Accountant, you’ll play a vital role in our finance team, helping us maintain a competitive edge and maximize profitability. Your work will directly impact key decision-making by providing accurate cost analysis and insightful recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze production costs and develop detailed cost models to support decision-making.
- Conduct variance analysis to explain differences between actual and expected costs.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and operations teams to ensure accurate cost tracking and efficiency improvements.
- Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Provide recommendations to optimize processes and reduce costs.
- Maintain and update standard costing practices.
- Participate in month-end close processes and prepare related journal entries.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in cost accounting or a related financial role (manufacturing experience a plus).
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across departments.
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.

The Bedford office grows and Tony makes plans to transition toward retirement. Raven Ridge is founded and acquires the Bedford location. The office expands and moves to a larger space in Bedford, NH. Payroll and billing operations move to the Bedford office. Growth and change create new business partners and new relationships; both internal and external.
