Position Summary:
Ross Technical Services Inc. (RTS) is seeking an Entry-Level Field Technician to join our growing water and wastewater services team. This role involves working with a small crew to install, remove, and monitor flow devices in manholes across Baltimore and surrounding counties. Flow monitoring is an essential procedure by collecting data for evaluating and characterizing wet-weather and dry-weather flow conditions throughout a municipality. Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:
- Install and remove flow monitoring equipment in manholes
- Monitor and maintain flow devices for accurate data collection
- Perform work safely and comfortably in confined spaces
- Accurately complete daily logs and data sheets
- Strictly follow safety guidelines, including OSHA and First Aid procedures (training provided)
- Communicate effectively with team members and maintain professional interactions with the public
- Participate in in-house and external professional development opportunities
Required Qualifications:
- Must be physically capable of lifting and working in outdoor and confined space environments
- High School diploma or GED
- At least one year of experience in municipal or general construction preferred
- Clear background and driving record
- Willingness to learn flow monitoring techniques and procedures
- Ability to work extended or irregular hours when needed
- Basic computer skills
Certifications and Training Provided:
- OSHA Confined Space
- First Aid and CPR
- Traffic Control
- NASSCO Certification

- Hourly pay: $19.00 to $25.00
