Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant to join our finance team. This role plays a vital part in supporting daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the finance function. The Junior Accountant will work closely with senior accounting staff and other departments to maintain compliance and improve financial processes.

What you will be doing? :

- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
- Perform general ledger reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently.
- Daily cashbook management
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Assist with the implementation and use of the new ERP system (IFS).
- Provide financial data and analysis to support management decisions.
- Help maintain proper segregation of duties within the finance team.
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments to streamline processes and improve reporting accuracy
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field –not essential but preferred
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine curiosity about your work.
