Job Summary
Santos Law Group is seeing a Family Law Attorney to join our growing law firm. In this role, you will provide legal counsel, attend court hearings when required, and occasionally draft complex documents. Our firm currently has experienced family law paralegals to assist you with client communications, drafting pleadings, and filing documents. You will work closely with a support team of administrative staff and other colleagues to provide excellent legal services to our clients.

Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to provide legal counsel and discuss complexities of their family law matter
- Prepare for and attend legal proceedings
- Assist in determining fair equitable distribution and attend Master's hearings
- Negotiate on behalf of clients
- Maintain detailed and accurate client records
- Occasionally prepare complex motions, and other legal documents
- Occasionally conduct legal research
Qualifications
- Successful completion of a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school and bar exam
- Active member of the American Bar Association (ABA)
- Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania
- Ability to represent both plaintiffs and defendants
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues to best serve clients

Pay Structure
Guaranteed hourly rate of pay, plus commission on new contracts signed. Benefit package includes: paid vacation time, 401k match, vision, and dental benefits
