Close to Home Caregivers is expanding our roster -- we're seeking caregivers for shifts in the greater VENICE area
-- from Nokomis in the north to Port Charlotte and Englewood in the south. Specifically, we need caregivers who prefer LONGER SHIFTS -- 8-, 10-12-hr shifts. Some are DAYTIME shifts, some OVERNIGHT.

We try to honor your preferences: assigning you to shifts that work for you, whether Weekday or Weekend day shifts ... or Overnight shifts.

Our hourly wage is competitive: and it can be adjusted to reflect the difficulty of a shift or to reward your dependability over time, plus we pay mileage for errands.
- We are not a huge agency and we retain a Small-Team Feel: Our scheduler, recruiter and office manager are all experienced caregivers -- we know the challenges and rewards of helping people who cannot help themselves, and the importance of keeping caregivers happy. You will frequently hear: "thank you," from our managers.

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Our mission is to provide superior care and safety for our clients ... but also to retain our caregivers by keeping their needs and preferences uppermost in our scheduling. We try to find shifts that match their preferences, and clients that fit their skills and comfort level. In hiring, we look for caregivers who are compassionate, well-trained, reliable and vigilant. If you are new to caregiving but are empathetic and responsible, and you enjoy helping others, we will train you.
