Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Solar Installers with at least 2 years experience, to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation of solar energy systems for residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, be familiar with power tools, and possess the ability to read blueprints and schematics. Your expertise will contribute to our mission of providing sustainable energy solutions while ensuring safety and quality in every installation.

Duties

Install solar panels and related equipment on rooftops and ground-mounted systems.
Collaborate with team members to assess job sites and determine optimal installation strategies.
Utilize power tools and equipment safely and effectively during installations.
Perform electrical work including wiring, fixture installation, and low voltage connections.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents to ensure accurate installations.
Conduct site assessments to evaluate structural integrity for solar panel installations.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Troubleshoot issues that may arise during the installation process.

Skills

Proficient in electrical work with a solid understanding of electrical systems.
Experience with power tools, including drills, saws, and other installation equipment.
Ability to build structures as needed for solar panel installations.
Knowledge of plumbing concepts as they relate to system installations is advantageous.
Competence in low voltage wiring techniques and practices.
Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding of schematics for accurate execution of plans.
Experience using voltmeters for testing electrical connections.
