STIWA is hiring a motivated and experienced CNC Machinist to join our team in Rock Hill, SC. In this role, you'll set up, operate, and maintain CNC Milling Machines to produce high-precision components using a variety of materials such as metals, plastics, and alloys. You'll work from detailed blueprints, selecting the right tools and setups to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Your Duties: 
  • Set up CNC machines by installing and adjusting necessary tools, gauges, and controls. 
  • Load raw materials into the machines and ensure proper alignment. 
  • Monitor the machines during operation to ensure they are running efficiently and producing high-quality components. 
  • Make necessary adjustments to the machines as needed, such as changing cutting tools or modifying cutting parameters. 
  • Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve machine errors or malfunctions in a timely manner. 
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety guidelines and best practices. 
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes and improve overall efficiency. 
  • Keep accurate records of production data, including output, scrap, and machine maintenance. 
Your Profile: 
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent 
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNC Machinist 
  • Familiarity with Heidenhain controls is a plus 
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings 
  • Willingness to work 1st and 2nd shifts, with potential for rotational shifts in the future based on business needs 
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and cost awareness 
  • Ability to self-manage time, demonstrate reliability, and take ownership of responsibilities 
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively, while contributing positively to our team-oriented culture and supporting a strong, cohesive team dynamic. 
  • Preference for candidates living within a reasonable commuting distance to our Rockhill, SC location
