We are a large, well-established property management company seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant to support our fast-paced resort rental department. This role combines hands-on accounting duties with administrative responsibilities and is ideal for someone who thrives in a multitasking environment.
We are a large, well-established property management company seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant to support our fast-paced resort rental department. This role combines hands-on accounting duties with administrative responsibilities and is ideal for someone who thrives in a multitasking environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily posting of rent and payment transactions for both short-term and long-term rentals.
- Handle weekly owner check runs and process security deposits efficiently.
- Manage vendor payments related to rental property service work.
- Monitor lease agreement deadlines and follow up with leasing agents.
- Conduct timely and accurate bank reconciliations.
- Assist with departmental administrative tasks, including phone coverage, large-scale mailings, and back-up support during staff absences.
- Maintain financial records and assist in bringing books to trial balance.
- Complete basic tax forms and ensure compliance with legal accounting requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience using AppFolio and Streamline Rental Software (strongly preferred).
- Solid accounting knowledge or degree is beneficial, though not required.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Ability to take direction from multiple team members and work collaboratively.
