Job Description
We are currently hiring a reliable and flexible Floater Assistant Teacher to support our classrooms throughout the day. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children of all ages and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, nurturing, and willing to assist wherever needed — whether it's changing diapers, covering breaks, cleaning classrooms, or engaging with children.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support in multiple classrooms ranging from infants to Pre-K
- Assist lead teachers in supervising and engaging children during activities
- Change diapers and assist with toileting and hygiene as needed
- Maintain clean and organized classroom environments, including cleaning tasks
- Step in to cover teacher breaks and staff absences
- Help with mealtime routines, naptime supervision, and transitions between activities
- Follow all health, safety, and licensing guidelines
- Be willing to jump in where help is needed most — flexibility is key!
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (CDA or Early Childhood coursework is a plus)
- Experience working with children in a group setting preferred
- Must be flexible, punctual, and have a positive attitude
- Able to lift 30 lbs and actively move around throughout the day
- Must pass all background checks and meet state licensing requirements
- CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain upon hire)

Compensation: $16.00 per hour
