REPORTS TO: Sr. Vice President, Business Development

SUMMARY:
The Director, Regional Sales - Atlantic Canada will focus on maintaining and increasing revenue, increasing market share, and helping provide a superior level of service by working closely with Quality Assurance and Operations to support our network and ensure delivery on promises and commitments made to clients.
- Build and secure new accounts, referrals, and existing relationships with key decision-makers through leads, cold calling, and sales presentations to maintain/grow the existing account base and expand our market share and revenue percentages
- Expand market share opportunities within a defined list of existing accounts in assigned areas
- Communicate with, train, and motivate network offices to understand and support the Business Development department
- Negotiate and complete MSAs (Master Service Agreements) with local, regional, and national commercial partners, local residential insurance clients
- Develop and deliver sales presentations professionally and effectively by:
- Making regular sales calls to develop relationships and follow up on leads
- Acting to close deals and finalize agreements
- Meeting established sales quotas and revenue and growth goals
- Develop business relationships and residential/commercial programs with commercial and residential property insurance carriers in assigned areas.
- Manage accounts, including dispute resolution, problem avoidance, and compliance with service level agreements.
- Work with the PDRI Business Development team to facilitate service opportunities.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the services and products offered by Paul Davis Restoration.
- Assist in marketing initiatives and communicate regularly with the Sr. Vice President, Business Development.
- Analyze and recommend programs and procedures that are in the best interest of all parties.
- Use approved CRM software to maintain all contacts, document interactions, and log meetings. This information will be used to track activity levels and measure performance against monthly and quarterly sales objectives.

- Perform all other duties as assigned,
- Computer literacy – MS Office Suite, Teams, Zoom, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.
- Sales experience with demonstrated negotiation and marketing skills
- Previous experience with CRM software will be considered an asset
- General knowledge of the Insurance industry/claims
- Obtains necessary industry trade certifications
- High level of initiative, dependability, and self-motivation
- Effectively able to communicate both verbally and in writing
- Ability to analyze, diffuse, and solve problem situations
- Knowledge of cost analysis techniques
- Ability to make decisions on own and evaluate judgments
- Possess a valid driver’s license

- College diploma or Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience)
- Sales experience of 5+ years a plus
- Restoration and/or insurance or commercial/facility sales experience a plus

- Must be able to stay in a stationary position up to 100% of the time
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, fax machine, copy machine, and computer printer.
- Must be able to observe and perceive information on a computer and documents
- Must be able to communicate and converse with customers over the phone
- Occasionally will lift up to 20lbs
- Ability to safely operate a company vehicle
This is a fully remote position. The employee will be working indoors and will be exposed to air conditioning and heat. The employee will be exposed to normal noises throughout the office and possible louder than normal noises during onsite visits. The employee will be exposed to outdoor weather conditions. On occasion, you may be required to attend a loss site, and protective equipment might be required. Employee must have access to a stable internet connection when working out of office. Employee must use provided VPN technology to securely connect remotely. The successful person must be productive with minimal supervision.
Travel
This position may require up to 50% travel for vendor sites, business visits, as well as for team meetings and trainings.
