Atlanta, GA - We need a Licensed Commercial Mechanic
Ft. Myers, FL - We need a Licensed Residential Mechanic
If you are not in Atlanta or Ft. Myers, please only apply if you are a licensed elevator mechanic with residential repair experience or commercial repair experience and want to relocate. If you are not licensed, we will consider years of experience if you are willing to get licensed.
SUMMARY
We are looking for a commercial/residential licensed Elevator Mechanic who will be responsible for the service and repair of commercial/residential elevators.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Servicing and repairing commercial and home elevators:
Able to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical parts
Timely completion of assigned preventative maintenance
Daily closing of assigned tickets with accurate information.
Communication on elevator status with on-site personnel.
Understanding the use of PPE and all safety rules
Understanding of wiring diagrams

Elevator Mechanic Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED.
• Relevant mechanical certification. - Elevator Mechanic License preferred
• Previous work experience as an elevator mechanic.
• Advanced knowledge of elevator systems, mechanical walkways, and escalators.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical malfunctions.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.
• Ability to travel and work after hours when required.
