Are you a creative, high-energy educator who thrives on hands-on, movement-based learning? Do you have a passion for helping young children grow through play, teamwork, and emotional development?

We’re launching Mind and Motion—a new enrichment program designed as an engaging alternative to nap time for children aged 3-5—and we’re looking for a Therapeutic Enrichment Specialist to bring it to life!

Why This is a Unique Opportunity:

This isn’t your typical classroom role. You’ll have the freedom to design your curriculum using a mix of sports, creative arts, dance, sensory play, group games, and mindfulness activities. You’ll lead both small- and whole-group sessions focused on movement, teamwork, and emotional regulation.

You’ll have access to a variety of supplies throughout the school and receive an additional $100/month to purchase anything else you may need to bring your ideas to life.

Your "classroom" will include the gymnasium, indoor hallways, and outdoor playgrounds, giving you endless flexibility to create an exciting and nurturing experience.

What You’ll Do:

  • Plan and lead a 2-hour daily enrichment session for children (ages 3–5)

  • Incorporate sensory play, gross motor activities, and calming closure routines

  • Support social-emotional growth through games, movement, and peer interaction

  • Proactively manage behaviors using positive, age-appropriate strategies

  • Collaborate with two assistant teachers to maintain a safe and joyful group dynamic

  • Maintain consistency, structure, and a high level of engagement throughout each session

What We’re Looking For:

  • A degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field

  • Experience working with children ages 3–5 in a large and small group setting

  • Strong classroom management skills and experience with behavior support

  • A creative and energetic personality with a passion for active learning

  • Familiarity with sensory play, mindfulness, or trauma-informed practices is a plus

  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Perks:

  • Use of all school materials and spaces (gym, hallways, outdoor playgrounds)

  • $100/month activity supply budget

  • Supportive team environment with room for creativity and growth

  • A chance to lead a truly unique and child-centered program

Compensation: $40.00 - $43.00 per hour
