We are seeking a skilled and passionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring expertise, dedication, and a genuine love for animals to help ensure our clinic continues to excel in its mission of compassionate care. As a Veterinary Technician, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

·         Assisting veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and medical procedures.

·         Collecting and preparing laboratory samples such as blood, urine, and tissue for testing.

·         Administering medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian.

·         Monitoring and caring for hospitalized pets, ensuring their comfort and safety.

·         Educating pet owners on general animal care, post-treatment protocols, and preventative health measures.

·         Maintaining accurate and detailed medical records for all patients.

·         Handling diagnostic imaging processes such as X-rays and ultrasounds.

·         Ensuring that the clinic's equipment is properly maintained and sterilized.

Required:

·         Previous experience in a clinical or hospital setting.

·         Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, pharmacology, and common medical conditions.

·         Excellent communication skills, both with team members and pet owners.

·         Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

Preferred:

·         Certification as a Veterinary Technician (or eligibility to be certified).

·         Proficiency with EzyVet veterinary software systems.

·         Experience in specialized fields such as dentistry, radiology, or emergency care.
