Job Summary
We are seeking a General Laborer to join our team. In this role, you will support worksite operations through manual labor tasks. This includes helping customers that bring in cans, plastic, and glass for CRV redemption. This includes checking the material for CRV, communicate with the customer our process and procedure. This may include keeping the worksite clean through the collection of trash, operating equipment, lifting and pushing trash cans full of CRV material, or other necessary tasks. The ideal candidate is a hard worker with the ability to meet the physical demands of the job.
Essential Functions:
- Have good communication skills
- Understand and implement policies and procedures
- Lift 50-100 pounds above waistline
- Walk and stand for 7+ hours a day
- Use a downstroke baler and touchscreen computer
- Learn the different types of material eligible for CRV redemption
- Have good housekeeping skills and safety skills
Qualifications
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Ability to adhere to all safety rules and regulations
- Knowledge of power tools and industrial machinery is preferred
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
Compensation: $17.50 per hour
