Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients.
- Perform periodontal evaluations and document findings accurately.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Assist in the development of individualized patient care plans.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure patient confidentiality.
- Utilize Dentrix software for documentation and patient management.
- Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care, including pediatrics when necessary.
- Review documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness before patient records are finalized.
Requirements
- Valid Dental Hygienist and Local Anesthesia license in accordance with state regulations.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and general dentistry practices.
- Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental office management software is preferred.
- Experience in pediatrics is a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients on oral health topics.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Commitment to ongoing education and staying current with best practices in dental hygiene.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly regarding documentation review and infection control measures.

Compensation: $100,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
