VIP Rheumatology is a patient-centered practice dedicated to delivering exceptional rheumatologic care. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Biologic Coordinator to join our growing team. 💼 Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate prior authorizations and insurance approvals for biologic and specialty medications
- Serve as a liaison between patients, providers, and specialty pharmacies
- Register patients for copay assistance
- Educate patients on biologic therapies, administration, and follow-up schedules
- Monitor treatment timelines and maintain accurate documentation in the EMR
- Track and follow up on approvals and therapy renewals
- Provide support to the clinical team on biologic protocols and patient outreach
✅ Qualifications
- Prior experience in a rheumatology, gastroenterology, dermatology, or specialty pharmacy setting preferred
- Working knowledge of prior authorization processes and biologic medications
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with EMR systems and healthcare documentation
- Compassionate, patient-focused, and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment

Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
