Location: Baltimore, MD 

Shift: 8:00 PM to 6 AM

Pay: $38 to $42 per hour

Sign on bonus up to $15,000

Position Overview

We are urgently seeking an experienced Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a full-time night shift position at a pediatric sleep lab in Baltimore, MD (Mount Washington area). This role involves providing sleep services 3–4 nights per week (8:00 PM–6:00 AM) to facilitate diagnostic testing and patient care for pediatric patients.

Responsibilities

· Testing and Data Collection: Facilitate polysomnographic tests, collect data, and ensure accurate results for pediatric patients.

· Equipment Preparation: Prepare and calibrate equipment, apply electrodes, sensors, and airway pressure masks per established protocols.

· Monitoring and Recording: Record patient activities, monitor study quality, and document clinical events (e.g., respiratory and cardiac episodes).

· Data Analysis: Score clinical events and tabulate data for physician review.

· Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and laboratory protocols.

Job Requirements

· Education: High school diploma required; completion of an accredited Polysomnography program preferred.

· Certification/Licenses:

o Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license required.

o Valid Maryland State License (Polysomnography or RT) required.

o Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required.

· Experience: Prior experience as an RPSGT or RRT in a sleep lab setting, preferably with pediatric patients.

· Physical Demands:

o Ability to stand, walk, sit, talk, and hear; use hands to operate equipment.

o Close, distance, and peripheral vision with ability to adjust focus.

o Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly, 25 pounds frequently, and 50 pounds occasionally.

· Other: Must meet federal employment eligibility requirements (E-Verify participation).

Schedule

· Full-time, 3–4 nights per week, 8:00 PM–6:00 AM.
Compensation: $38.00 - $50.00 per hour
