Job Summary: We are seeking dedicated and empathetic Non-Medical Home Caregivers to join our team. As a caregiver with Happy Home Care Agency, you will play a vital role in helping our clients maintain their independence and well-being. This position involves providing essential non-medical support, companionship, and assistance with daily living activities for seniors and individuals with disabilities in their homes. Responsibilities:

Companionship: Engage in friendly conversation, provide emotional support, and participate in activities with clients (e.g., reading, games, light walks).
Personal Care Assistance: (If applicable and comfortable) Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Light Housekeeping: Perform light household chores, including tidying living areas, laundry, and washing dishes.
Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
Medication Reminders: Remind clients to take their medications as prescribed (caregivers do NOT administer medication).
Errands & Transportation: Assist with errands such as grocery shopping, pharmacy pick-ups, and transportation to appointments (if client's needs require and caregiver has appropriate transportation).
Mobility Support: Provide standby assistance with walking, transferring, and light exercise as needed.
Observation & Reporting: Observe and report any changes in the client's physical, mental, or emotional condition to the supervisor.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely records of care provided.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required.
Previous experience as a caregiver, CNA, HHA, or in a similar role is preferred but not required. We are willing to train compassionate individuals!
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance (for positions requiring transportation).
Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, compassion, and a genuine desire to help others.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
