We are now hiring full time Restoration Foremen at our Centre Hall location servicing Centre, Clinton & Mifflin Counties.  Our dedicated team of STOP Restoration Technicians help families in our local community affected by FIRE, WATER, SMOKE, and MOLD.  

If you are curious what a day in restoration is like, here are just a few things to expect.  Our technicians work at a different job site mostly every day of the week.  There is rarely a dull day.  Working in an emergency service field like ours requires urgency, problem solving, and compassion for our customers.   

The most successful Restoration Foremen are eager to develop skills and earn the opportunity to become IICRC Certified and become true “Masters of Disaster”.  Restoration methods are science backed and take time to learn and develop.  Many of our Foremen started as Technicians without any experience in the restoration field.  However, with the right attitude and a desire to learn, we can get you the skills you need to develop your career in this demanding field.   

Responsibilities include:
  • Inspect, plan & perform tasks to remedy properties damaged by water, smoke, fire and mold. 
  • Mitigation Activities including - Fire/Soot/Smoke Clean Up.  Water Extraction & Drying.  Mold Remediation.  Demolition of damaged materials.  Moving furniture and appliances when necessary. 
  • Sketch layout of rooms and put a detailed scope together for the estimator. 
  • Plan, strategize, and problem solve throughout the project. 
  • Document projects to completion using software and mobile apps.  This includes taking photos, job notes, monitoring and equipment tracking, and tracking progress to completion.
  • Ensure project complies with all insurance requirements.
  • Use appropriate PPE and ensure other team members on the project comply with PPE requirements. 
  • Consistently develop skills and complete all required job training. 
  • Follow and make sure all technicians follow job site & safety protocols.
  • Clean and maintain drying equipment.
  • Runs and manages job site.
  • Point of contact for customers, subcontractors, and vendors.  
  • Submits orders for materials needed on the job site to Mitigation Manager.  
  • Reports progress in daily job board meetings.  
  • Drive company vehicle responsibly. Clean and maintain daily.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years in construction, trade, or a labor-intensive field.
  • Basic carpentry & mechanical skills.  Must be familiar and handy with tools.
  • Must have a valid PA Driver’s License and a good driving record. Our Restoration Technicians are required to drive company vehicles.   
  • Must be willing to submit to a background check.
  • Must be available to work weekdays 730-400 and after-hours. This includes taking part in our rotating On-Call Schedule for After Hours/Weekends.  This is typically 1 week per month.  Flexibility for overtime and after hours is required. 
  • Must be technically inclined.  Comfortable using cell phone for mobile applications.
  • Ability to work in dirty and sometimes toxic environments that require PPE.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Compensation & Incentives
  • A Restoration Foreman can expect to earn $ 23- $26 per hour plus monthly bonuses.  A Restoration Foreman can expect to make $ 52,000 to $ 55,000 their first year.  
  • Monthly Bonus based on performance.  Typical monthly bonus of $ 250-$ 300 per month.
  • After Hours Bonus of $ 150 for each after-hours emergency call during On-call rotation.
  • SIGN ON BONUS of $ 250 after successful completion of 90 day probationary period.
