The Role
As a Lead Swim Instructor, you’ll teach swim lessons to children and adults (as young as 3 months old) using our fun, gentle, and structured methods.
You don’t need to be an expert instructor—we train you. What matters most is your energy, reliability, and willingness to learn.
You’ll play a direct role in helping kids build confidence in the water and learn life-saving skills.
Available Schedule
- Evenings: Monday–Wednesday (4:45 PM – 8:00 PM)
- Sundays: (10:15 AM – 2:30 PM)
- Ideal for balancing classes, studying, and social life
What You Need
- Comfortable in the water with basic swimming ability
- Positive, outgoing personality
- Reliable and able to commit to a consistent schedule
Bonus If You Have
- Experience working with kids or tutoring
- Customer service experience
- Lifeguard/CPR/AED certification (or willingness to get certified during training)

Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

While we teach swimming to people of all ages and abilities, most of our students are preschool and elementary-aged kids. Our instructors should like working with this age group and be good at making parents feel comfortable. It's helpful if you have experience with children or in a child-focused job, but it's not required if you can show the right attitude. The job comes with specialized training in our advanced and unique British Swim School approach.
We also have exciting opportunities with our Customer Service Team, even if you're not in the pool. These are the people committed to providing the best service in the industry. In these roles, you might talk to parents on the phone or by the pool. Wherever you are, the aim is to make everyone feel like part of the British Swim School Family as we focus on ensuring the “Survival of the Littlest.”
