Position Overview:
Sustainable Living Builders is looking for a reliable and motivated Solar Installer to join our expanding team. As a Solar Installer, you will be instrumental in bringing clean, renewable energy solutions to our clients’ homes and businesses. Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the installation of residential and commercial solar photovoltaic (PV) systems.
Work safely and efficiently on rooftops and other elevated structures using proper fall protection and PPE.
Support licensed electricians during system wiring and electrical connections.
Load, transport, and set up solar equipment and materials at job sites.
Follow site plans and schematics to ensure accurate placement and system layout.
Maintain clean and organized work areas, tools, and vehicles.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth project execution.
Uphold all safety and quality standards while adhering to local building codes.

Qualifications:

Approximately 2 years of experience in solar installation or a similar hands-on construction role.
Basic understanding of electrical systems and solar panel technology.
Ability to climb ladders, work on roofs, and lift 60–80 lbs as needed.
Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Preference given to applicants residing near Sonoma or surrounding areas.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment.
Comfortable with frequent standing, climbing, and working at heights.
Tolerance for outdoor work in sun, wind, or cold.

Compensation: $52,000.00 per year
