Priority Group Services, a leading NJ homecare provider, is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides (HHAs) to join our growing team! In this role, you will play a vital role in assisting patients with daily living activities and promoting their well-being in the comfort of their homes.
What you'll do:
-Assist patients with personal care needs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
-Help patients with ambulation and transfers, ensuring their safety and mobility.
-Prepare and serve meals, considering dietary restrictions.
-Light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe home environment.
-Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to healthcare professionals.
-Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive and caring environment.
-Document patient care accurately and completely.
The Ideal Candidate:
-Holds a high school diploma or equivalent.
-Minimum of 6 months of experience as a Home Health Aide or in a related caregiving role.
-Valid New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification is required.
-Strong compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and families.
-Patience, reliability, and a positive attitude.
-Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols.
