SharePoint Software Developer

 
Job Responsibilities:
  • Design Design and Develop SharePoint Solutions: Build custom applications, web parts, workflows, and integrations within SharePoint to meet business needs.
  • Customize and Configure SharePoint Sites: Modify site layouts, create custom lists and libraries, and implement branding to enhance the user experience.
  • Maintain and Troubleshoot SharePoint Environments: Ensure that SharePoint systems run smoothly, fix bugs, optimize performance, and apply necessary updates or patches.
  • Analyzes, troubleshoots, and/or redesigns existing applications; and recommends new technologies to improve efficiency and ensure quality.
  • Ability to take on complex problems, learn quickly, and push relentlessly towards scalable solutions.
  • Interfaces with clients to aid in identifying, diagnosing, and problem solving.
  • Advises user departments and other Information Technology Services support teams on system requirements, enhancements, and new technologies.
  • Write clear and well-designed, maintainable & testable code and well-defined technical/architecture documentation.
  • Ensures that clients have the necessary training and documents to properly utilize computer systems.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Strong understanding of SharePoint Online and SharePoint On-Premises.
  • Proficiency in SharePoint Framework (SPFx), PowerShell scripting, and Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 ecosystem and integrations (Teams, OneDrive, Exchange).
  • Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern front-end frameworks (like React or Angular for SPFx development).
  • Experience with REST APIs, CSOM, JSOM, and Microsoft Graph API.
  • Understanding of SharePoint security models, permissions, and governance best practices.
  • Knowledge of SQL Server, Azure services, and basic cloud architecture (optional but highly valuable).

Compensation: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
