Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Field-Based Inspector to conduct on-site inspections of completed work to ensure it meets established standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements. This position is essential in maintaining quality control, identifying deficiencies, and verifying compliance with project plans and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform field inspections of completed work across various project sites.
- Verify that work complies with plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards.
- Document findings through written reports, photographs, and digital checklists.
- Communicate deficiencies or issues with the appropriate project teams for resolution.
- Track corrective actions and follow up on re-inspections as needed.
- Collaborate with contractors, project managers, and clients to ensure quality assurance throughout the closeout process.
- Maintain detailed and organized inspection records.
- Participate in regular team meetings to provide updates and share field insights.
- Ensure safety protocols and site requirements are followed during all inspections.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in field inspections, construction, infrastructure, or a related industry.
- Working knowledge of construction methods, materials, and codes.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to multiple job sites daily.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to walk, stand, and navigate job sites for extended periods.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs as needed.
Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
