Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable person to join our team. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to create a safe and secure environment on the OC Conventions Center floor while our electricians are working above. Your diligence is essential to protect people from unknowingly walking into an unsafe area.
Responsibilities
- Patrol the premises and maintain a high level of visibility
- Monitor entrances and exits to ensure only authorized personnel access the facility
- Report on daily activities and any security incidents
- Move safety cones and caution tape around floor as directed by team above.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Security Guard or in a similar position is preferred
- High school diploma/GED
- Strong understanding of public safety and security procedures
- Excellent written communication skills and report writing ability
- Attention to detail and strong observational skills
- Ability to work without direct supervision
* Must be able to pass strict background check for security clearance*
Hours are 7am -3pm M-F and the occasion Saturdays.
