We are looking for a Director of Clinical Services to lead our hospice care team. This vital leadership position is perfect for a Registered Nurse with strong clinical skills and a heart for patient-centered care. The right candidate will help shape the future of our care programs while making a lasting impact on the lives of patients and their loved ones.
Position Overview:
The Director of Clinical Services is responsible for managing the clinical direction of our hospice operations. This includes ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, supporting interdisciplinary team collaboration, mentoring clinical staff, and maintaining the highest standards of quality care.

Primary Duties:
- Direct and manage all clinical care services for hospice patients
- Oversee patient referral and intake processes to ensure timeliness and accuracy
- Provide 24/7 clinical leadership coverage for patient care needs
- Serve as a liaison between patients, families, physicians, and care teams
- Guide and evaluate nursing staff to promote continuous performance improvement
- Complete home visits and participate in the on-call schedule
- Ensure all documentation meets agency and regulatory requirements
- Advocate for patients’ dignity, comfort, and individual rights
- Maintain strict adherence to internal policies and external regulations
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of New Mexico
- Minimum 2 years of clinical hospice experience
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid hospice guidelines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with EMR systems and modern office tools
- Current CPR certification, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
