Assisting Home Care is seeking a compassionate, self-motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as an Assessment Nurse. This flexible PRN/part-time role is ideal for nurses who enjoy independence, variety, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of clients in their own homes.
You’ll be responsible for conducting initial assessments, reassessments, and supervisory visits, while also supporting PCA and CNA staff training. This is your opportunity to be part of a dedicated, caring team focused on keeping clients safe and healthy at home—and out of the hospital.
✅ Preferred Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of NC (or compact state)
- Strong clinical and assessment skills
- Passion for community health and home care
- Excellent time management and documentation skills
- Prior home care experience strongly preferred
🏡 Your Responsibilities:
- Travel to client homes throughout East Charlotte and surrounding areas
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ health, daily living activities, and home environments
- Document client health status, diagnoses, medications, and care needs electronically
- Provide clinical oversight and training to PCAs and CNAs
- Maintain clear communication with care team and agency leadership

Compensation: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
