We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Commercial Office Cleaner to maintain a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment at our commercial office space. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, is punctual, and understands the importance of cleanliness in professional settings.
Attention to detail is absolutely essential in this role, as the cleaner will be working around sensitive and expensive office equipment such as computers, printers, and electronics. The ideal candidate must be cautious and deliberate in their cleaning practices, ensuring that no liquids are spilled near electrical components and that all surfaces are treated with appropriate care.
They must follow specific guidelines and use the correct materials to avoid scratching screens, damaging finishes, or interfering with equipment functionality. Taking the necessary precautions to protect company property is a key part of the job, and a strong sense of responsibility and care is required to maintain a safe and damage-free work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, break rooms, common areas and kitchen areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all assigned areas
- Empty trash cans and replace liners
- Clean windows, mirrors and doors
- Wipe down surfaces, including desks, tables, and counters
- Replenish paper products and cleaning supplies as needed
- Monitor cleaning supply inventory and notify manager when reordering is needed
- Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly
- Ensure secure handling of cleaning equipment and supplies
Qualifications:
- Prior cleaning or janitorial experience (preferred but not required)
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Strong attention to detail
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Dependable with a positive attitude
