As we expand into new markets and product categories, we’re seeking a driven Director of Sales to lead our growth strategy and build a high-performing sales team.
Position Overview:
The Director of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing a national sales strategy with a focus on rapid growth, team expansion, and new market penetration. This role requires frequent travel across multiple states, leadership in hiring and training sales representatives, collaboration with vendor partners, and responsibility for business development—particularly bringing on new products to market and sell.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute a national sales strategy with an emphasis on revenue and market growth
- Hire, train, and manage a team of outside sales representatives
- Travel regularly across several states to support reps, meet with key customers, and expand business reach
- Collaborate with vendor reps and partners to grow product offerings and increase sales opportunities
- Identify and help onboard new medical products for the company to market and distribute
- Develop and nurture relationships with hospitals, surgery centers, clinics, and other key accounts
- Analyze performance data, forecast sales targets, and report KPIs to leadership
- Ensure compliance with all industry and product standards
Qualifications:
- 7–10 years of experience in medical sales and/or sales team leadership
- Strong background in selling to hospitals, surgery centers, or clinical settings
- Experience building and managing sales teams across multiple territories
- Proven ability to develop vendor relationships and launch new products
- Willingness to travel frequently (30–50%)
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary: $90,000–$115,000
- Unlimited commission earning potential
