What You'll Do:
- Craft exceptional espresso drinks, drip coffee, teas, and seasonal specialties with consistency and care
- Create a warm, welcoming space for our customers and fellow team members
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace
- Engage customers with genuine hospitality and product knowledge
- Assist with opening/closing duties and restocking as needed
- Work quickly and accurately during busy shifts
What We’re Looking For:
- 1+ year of barista experience (third-wave coffee experience is a plus)
- Knowledge of manual brewing methods, espresso dialing, and milk texturing
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Willingness to learn and grow with the Tremont team
- Availability for early mornings, weekends, and flexible shifts

Tremont was started from very humble beginnings and big dreams.
Back in 2016, we said it was now or never.
Either we finally do something about the hopes and dreams we had of starting a business or we just finally give up the dream and move on. The timing couldn't be worse or the budget any smaller.
We had never run a successful business before. What little we had we were absolutely terrified to lose again.
However, we had each other and we both loved coffee.
Founders Mark and Michelle Kemp are proud lifelong residents of Stark County and they believed they could grow a successful family business in their home state of OHIO with a people over corporate mentality.
Through endless hours of hard work, sacrifice, and the embrace of the local community. Tremont Coffee has gone on to build a thriving business and 3 locations in NE Ohio.
We've never forgotten those humble beginnings and with your help, we make it a priority to support the very communities where we live, work and play as well as the farming families growing our coffee crops all over the world.
We want to share what we believe has become a unique opportunity for families like ours to build their own dreams. We will be exploring franchise opportunities for owner-operators to build a Tremont Coffee Co of their own.
This year will mark an exciting time for the Tremont family. We will soon begin building the Tremont Coffee Franchise development center in Massillon, Ohio. Our training center will be a functioning coffee shop with a drive-through. This new facility will provide additional formal training areas for franchisees' to learn the coffee business from the inside.
