Pay: $30-$35 per hour
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. Associate Degree (COTA) from an accredited program
2. Current state Occupational Therapy certification
3. Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
4. National Board for Certification Occupational Therapy certification, AOTA and OTAC membership preferred
5. Minimum 1-2 years experience

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Rehab Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality therapy services to patients recovering from injury, illness, or surgery, and support them in achieving optimal functional independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist to improve patients’ ability to perform daily activities.
- Instruct and assist patients in therapeutic exercises and functional activities.
- Document patient progress and communicate observations to the Occupational Therapist.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in compliance with facility and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on adaptive techniques and use of equipment to aid daily living.
- Monitor patients’ responses and report any changes in condition to the Occupational Therapist.
Compensation: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
