About the Role:
Join Gateway Residential Services as a Direct Support Professional and make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities. We are dedicated to empowering our clients to achieve their personal goals in a supportive and encouraging environment.
- Monday to Friday 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am, every other weekend.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Encourage social interactions and community involvement through planned activities.
- Document client progress and report any changes in behavior or health to the supervisory team.
- Maintain a safe and clean-living environment for clients.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized support plans.
- Facilitate skill-building activities that promote independence and self-advocacy.
- Adhere to all company policies and state regulations regarding client care and safety.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred.
- Experience in direct support or caregiving roles is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with clients and families.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Background check clearance as required by state regulations.

Compensation: $15.50 per hour
