About the Role:
Join our dynamic team at Planet Fitness in Salinas, CA, as an Overnight Custodian! This role is essential in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our members during the night hours, ensuring they have a top-notch experience when they arrive.
Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough cleaning of gym equipment and facilities to ensure a sanitary environment.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Restock supplies in locker rooms, restrooms, and common areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through mopping, vacuuming, and sweeping.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Assist with minor repairs and upkeep of facility equipment.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are maintained and stored correctly.
- Provide exceptional service to members and help maintain a positive gym atmosphere.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous custodial or cleaning experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Must be able to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
- Ability to work overnight shifts from 10 PM to 6 AM, Monday to Thursday.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Must be reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
