Rent.Live provides housing nationally for students attending local colleges. We seek a full-time cleaner to help maintain our residential apartment units.

Duties:
  • Our apartments are two and three-bedroom units with up to six students living in each unit. You would be responsible for cleaning two or more units each day, roughly two hours per unit.
  • Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms.
  • Empty trash cans and dispose of waste properly.
  • Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
  • Clean and maintain carpets using appropriate cleaning methods and special equipment.
  • Clean and ready the apartments for new move-ins, tenant transfers, and unit closeouts.
  • Assist the property manager with all leasing activities, including key audits.
  • Assist the property manager with maintenance follow-ups and unit issues.
Skills:

  • Attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning.
  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to cleaning procedures.
  • Time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.
  • Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
  • Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment.

Job Requirements

  • Valid social security number and authorized to work in the United States
  • Fluent in English
  • Cleaning experience (having cleaned for others before)
  • Must provide your own cleaning supplies and equipment
