We’re looking for a hands-on field superintendent who leads from the front — someone who believes job sites should be organized, efficient, and rub with pride.

This is for experienced leaders who want to build exceptional work without unnecessary drama. 

Your Role on the Jobsite 

You are the daily leader across multiple projects and the on-site extension of our Project Management team. 

You will: 

• Lead crews and subcontractors with professionalism and accountability 
• Work hands-on when needed — leading by example 
• Maintain clean, safe, organized job sites that reflect our standards 
• Protect craftsmanship while keeping projects on schedule 
• Solve problems calmly and proactively 
• Communicate clearly with PMs, clients, inspectors, and trade partners 
• Train and mentor developing field talent 

Responsibilities 

• Direct all daily site operations and field personnel 
• Coordinate subcontractor schedules and sequencing 
• Conduct daily quality control walk-throughs 
• Enforce safety standards and site protection protocols 
• Interpret plans, specifications, and scopes accurately 
• Plan ahead for materials, equipment, and manpower needs 
• Maintain daily logs and photo documentation 
• Resolve site challenges professionally and efficiently 
• Represent Woolsey Construction with professionalism at all times 

What We’re Looking For 

• 10+ years residential construction experience 
• 2+ years in a superintendent or field leadership role 
• High-end residential experience strongly preferred 
• Strong knowledge of sequencing, materials, and Califorinia building codes 
• Ability to read plans and anticipate issues before they arise 
• Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented 
• Calm problem-solver who leads without ego 
• Tech-comfortable (smartphones, tablets, construction apps) 
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
