We are seeking talented Roadway/Transportation Engineers to join our team. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with experience in civil site, transportation, and infrastructure design who are looking to grow in a collaborative environment serving both public and private sector clients. The firm provides professional services in transportation, water resources, land planning, landscape architecture, institutional design, arborist services, land acquisition, construction management, and surveying. The team includes licensed civil engineers, landscape architects, land planners, and surveyors many of whom are LEED® Accredited Professionals.

Duties and Responsibilities

Plan, design, and analyze data for roadway and transportation engineering projects
Prepare studies and associated drawings, maps, reports, and documentation
Calculate quantities and prepare cost estimates for construction
Develop detailed construction drawings and technical specifications
Conduct site visits and document findings for project managers and senior engineers
Assist in maintaining project schedules and budgets
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate deliverables
Engage in ongoing professional development through training, seminars, and coursework
Occasional travel may be required
Perform additional duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Working knowledge of MicroStation, OpenRoads, and other Bentley software
Registered Professional Engineer (PE)

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience with Department of Transportation (DOT) projects (e.g., NCDOT)
A strong desire to learn and apply engineering skills in innovative, solution-focused ways

Compensation: $75,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
