Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough home inspections, evaluating structural components, roofing, plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and more
- Provide detailed, accurate, and easy-to-understand reports using inspection software
- Communicate findings clearly and professionally to clients and real estate agents
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, codes, and best practices
- Ensure compliance with local and state inspection regulations
Requirements:
- State-licensed or certified Home Inspector (or ability to obtain license within a specified timeframe)
- Prior home inspection experience preferred but not required
- Familiarity with home inspection software and reporting tools
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Ability to climb ladders, access roofs and crawlspaces, and work in various weather conditions
