Our Climbing Wall Coordinator is a coachable, detail oriented and ambitious professional who will provide an inviting, clean, and safe environment for all visitors while staying true to FFC’s core values. Position: Climbing Wall Coordinator 
Job Type: Part-time 
Location: FFC Park Ridge 
Compensation: $15 per hour plus commission for 1:1 private lessons, as well as 50% commission on all events

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Promote climbing wall as a business within the facility
  • Work closely with Member Services and the Asst. Club Manager to coordinate sales promotions and sell climbing wall
  • Oversee client climbing wall programming for one on one coaching to help clients reach goals
  • Serve as a consultant to the fitness staff as directed by the Fitness Director
  • Follow all FFC Climbing Wall safety standards, rules and policies
  • Assist other instructors during lessons 
  • Schedule lessons for other instructors
  • Participate in the hiring process
  • Assist with budget plans/reviews 
  • Provide education to the staff and members
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years climbing experience
  • Certified belayer, spotter and/or top rope climber
  • Must deliver consistent and exceptional customer service to all members, guest and staff
  • Physical requirements include: walking and standing during the entire shift (often 4-8 hours), climbing stairs, kneeling, pushing and pulling objects, lifting and moving objects (up to 50 lbs.)
